Parents with strollers in Paris : take the bus !

Save you the hassle of trying to take the metro with a stroller in Paris : it's a nightmare (mostly no elevator, doors hard to open and don't get me started on finding the place inside the metro in busy hours), my Parisian family & friends all know the secret : take the public bus !

The network is really good and plus : enjoy the window views of the different areas, you may want to get down in a place you find charming and never thought of visiting.

You may have to wait a bit longer then the metro, and still face some difficulties in rush hours, but Parisian accept more the presence of strollers/toddlers/family in the bus then the metro and will leave place more easily.
